which tranny top mount?
i have a 96 civic with a b18 motor, it was originally a automatic and im starting to think the auto tranny top braket was reused, i didnt so the swap i got the car in a trade. . do i need a braket for any 96 5 speed civic or is the Si one differnt?
part numbers seem to be the same for b or d motor, but differnt only for the auto
mine looks like it was two "high" / doesnt go low enough and like someone made it work anyways
one of the bolts isint even in all the way
if anyone has a good picture of there mount feel free to post up

from the back side pointing foward

i think the mount bracket is now bent, but would possibly flatten it self out, also the bolt going through the rubber isint level, it points slight up at the firewall

First off, which tranny is it hydro or cable? If it is hydro, any B-series hydro mount should work stock or hasport (just make sure it is for a 96 civic) Also, I would throw some kind of spacers in there just to make sure nothing would happen, until you acquire the right transmission mount.
ya all the other bolts are flat agaist it, i think its bent now, im not even sure if there was supposed to be a stud there or if that bolt was too long or what, its hard to get a socket on it or wrech at it where it is
part number on si / ex 99 civic seem to be the same for that braket so i think any d series 96+ 5 spd one should work, anyone correct me if im wrong

my searching on here and comparing part #s says the bracket is the same for all 96-00 civic manual trans b or d motor
anyone know if that bolts thats half sticking out in the picture is supposed to be a stud?
