i have a 97 civic ex and i know the factory k/e is in the radio but i saw this in another thread

<U>You can jump for the dome or just use a Y adapter harness and keep the factory unit behind the dash.
95% of the world does this </U>

is their a way to do this??

Do you mean can you keep the factory key-less, without the OEM HU? NO

oh ok so i have to keep the head unit for the keyless entry to work unless i get an alarm installed
