d16a6, have both timing marks dead on, turn motor over by crank bolt goes about 1/3 to 1/4 then wont turn any further, thinkin valves are touchin pistons, it is a high comp, zc pistons... motor is out of car on a stand.

 

are you sure its not just getting harder because the valves are opening?

 

could be installed comp cam valve springs in, but jus seems very snug....

 

What rods you using? it is making a clunking noise? is it radiaton dust?

 

got it figured out.....

valves were opening.

 

valves opening, high tension comp cam valve springs.... so its all good now...
