Hey guys, i dynoed my ride..
Dang, i really wanted to post the dyno graph, but i couldn't find someone with a scanner this morning. You think it would come out if i took a pic of it with my digital camera? Well anyways.. my final numbers after tuning was 210whp and 170lb of torque @ 7lbs psi. I hoping to get around 220, but i guess those are okay numbers
I'm currently running a revhard stage 2c kit, which is running a t3/t04e, on my delsol with a b18b. I have other minor mods such as:
skunk manifold
aem cam gears, pulleys, fpr.
crane ignition
exedy clutch/spoon flywheel
and a really restrictive exhaust. its like 2.5 dp to a high flow cat, then back down to 2.25 crush bent pipiing, to a greddy exhaust.
I wanna get 250 before we head to the track, what do guys think i should get to achieve that? I was planing on getting some turbo cams, and at the track, turn up the boost to 9lbs, and get a full 3in exhaust. for the delta gate, all i need to do is get a 9lb spring right? thanks guys.

Those are really good #'s for your setup! Are you running stock injectors? Try a set of 310cc and an 8:1 FMU disk (6:1 may work too). Then turning up the boost to 10psi should net you very close to your 250 whp goal.
yeah, im running stock injectors,..the dyno guy suggest i get 310's and try to run a lil higher boost... would getting a better wastegate help with performance also? may be like a 35mm tial or something?
yeah..i think hondata will be in my future plans, but i dont anything that soon. my main goal this summer is to run mid to high 13s. i will be happy. but secondly achieve about 250 whp. is there alot of differnce between running a 2.5 down pipe to a 3 inch exhaust, compared to 2.5 straight all the way through?
don't waste your money on cams. That will probably be the last thing you want to do. I agree with everyone else on injectors and maybe an S-AFC for tuning. Hondata and a wideband O2 will be good choices too.

where did you get your car tuned at? he mentioned gettin 310s? did he also recommend changin your FMU rate? because you will run rich if you get the 310s without changin out the fmu ratio.
i dont think he metioned about changing the fmu rate. that was what i was wondering also.. is it prety simple to change out the disc on the vortech units? i was thinking about like 8:1 and some 310's.. will it still be rich?
i think 6:1 would be fine with the b18b. i have a b18b and i'm getting 310cc to run with 6;1. by my calculations, 8:1 maybe too rich.
6:1-- 310cc--fuel pressure--new injector flow rate.
10 psi boost, 95 psi fuel pressure 461cc flow
9 psi boost, 89 psi fp 450cc flow
8 psi boost, 83 psi fp 430cc flow
7 psi boost, 77psi fp 415 cc flow...
43 psi was use as base injector flow in calculations
for 310 cc at 8:1 FMU disc...
10 psi boost 115 psi fuel pressure 507cc injector flow
9 psi boost, 107 psi fp, 489 cc
8 psi boost, 99 psi fp 470cc
7 psi boost, 91 psi fp 451cc
so in my opinion, 8:1 may be too rich.

"Technically that is correct, IF your pump/fuel system can even handle the pressure."
Now i am running at least 125 psi with the airtex pump and stock injectors for over 2 years...
anything to lower fuel pressure will be okay as long as i am getting the correct fuel to the cylinders.

isnt it better to be rich than risk the chance of bein lean?
