The circuit film hardly goes out. Did you at least let the car warm up before coming to conclusions?

yea car was worm, also had found a slit on the curcuit film trace it to one of the curcuit that leads to the back of the temp gauge also it leads to the yellow green wire in which the connecter plugs into, hopefully it works

I would mess around with it. I would take the plastic cover off and see if the pointer even moves or something. Just check around and compair things to your old cluster. See what goes where and if they line up.

one thing i noticed was that when i disconnect and connect the plugs into the cluster the temp needle moves up and down like a 2mm them goes back down to the cold setting, meanwhile the car is aready worm i even had the car running while checking it out.i kinda figure its the print panel on the back of the cluster algone with the slit i found there was some scratched on the curcuit aswell there like a light green film that covers the curcuitry and some of it was scratched off probably from when i had it stored,i really would like to make this damn thing work cuz not only do they look good but there so damn expensive to.
