92 Civic Stalling
My 92 Honda DX Civic recently started cutting off while driving, it seems like it’s starving for gas but if I peddle the gas it struggles but stays on. The idle becomes rough and when it does shut off, I have to wait a while before I can get it to start.
I checked the ECM because I had to replace it recently, but it checks fine. (resistance is within specs). My most recent experience with this issue was at a red light, the idle became rough and a very faint line of smoke sipped out from the steering near the indicator lever. I had to wait before I started the car, after that it ran fine for the rest of the drive. (I stay close to home, nothing is further than 3 miles)
I have since stopped poking around because I am consumed by all the possibilities, please post if you have ever seen this before or know of it.
Thanks a bunch to all,
John Luna

Hmm, I had a similar problem with my 1990 Accord. I never figured out how to fix it because it eventually went away...but check your fuel filter thats just something i'm throwing out there as an idea, but I don't really know. Just thought i'd add my two cents!
check the plug wires. they can break pretty easy sometime. my 93 did the same thing. ran like crap, i thought it was crap in my fuel filter and i call my mechanic and he said it was the plug wires. changed them and ran like a dream after that. hope it all works out for ya
check the main relay, grey box behind the hood release handle. it has a 7 pin brown connector going into it. The main relays are known to go bad over time because of the solder from the factory. a new one from the dealer is about $60.
that's what the inside looks like, look for crappy or cracked solder joints
