Default Type-R final drive gear?

Not too pricey. Wondering if someone can tell me more about it.

From knowing some S2k guys, Honda gearing is made by Mazda and if you can find the right cross ref part # it's way less to buy from Mazda.

but isn't it strange that the transmission and gear of honda &gt; mazda

i always hear comments about how great the s2k/dc5/fgs feel
nothing about a miata

but yeah, its not worth it unless you blow your tranny

thats for other than stock s2k FD's
