code 2 on a 94 gsr swap

code 2 on a 94 gsr swap
hey folks...have a problem with my crx...jdm b18c gsr...
its throwing a code 2...the engine check light never goes on but when you jump the ECU i get a code 2...secondary O2...why?!
the motor is a 94 OBDI not OBDII...its only suppose to have one O2 not two like the 96 and up OBDII...
I thought maybe i had a bad ecu...well i went and spent $$$ for another P72 OBDI and i get the same code...
I need to solve this cuz i have to bring it back to the CA smog refs...
we were thinking about disabling the light but were pretty sure they check to see it the light works by diconnecting a sensor tho intentionally throw a code...
i asked my buddy who did the swap if there was a mistake in the wiring...he said that he doesnt think so cuz there isnt a pin for the secondary O2 OBDI ecu...
