New wheels, floating feeling coming from rear?
Like it says. My old tires were all bald in the rear and I got a hookup from a friend for new rims and tires all the way around. Since the new setup the rear 2 tires feels like its kinda floating when I drive. The front is fine, but it feel likes the rear is pushing left or right. Now I know the rear pass side was def outta wack so I got an alignment right after, but no change.
Other facts:
I only does it on one freeway
It didnt do it on this freeway prior to the new setup
I drove my friends car the other day, same freeway/route with no floating feeling
I rotated tires from back to front and no difference
Had alignment
All suspension is new within 2 yrs...bushings, shocks, sway, springs(maybe 4yo)
What do you guys think??

From my expriences on the street and track, running directional tires in the wrong direction IN THE DRY does not cause any adverse affects. In the rain, that's a totally different story.

that kinda could and couldnt be true...I cant say Ive noticed any leakage around shock body or spring coil body. However when I first bought the car and redid the suspension I started w/ GC coilovers and agx shocks. About 2yrs later or so one blew out on the PS so I replaced both rears w/ gr2's. That was about a yr ago maybe slightly more..acyually 2yrs from ebay feedback date..FYI

Does the freeway have alot of lines running from front to back?
Because from my expirience depending on width and tread on the tires they will get cought and drag in those groves.

yeah this freeway does and Ive read about that, but wouldnt the front do it too, and why did the change come about w/ the new setup and not the old?
Not always is ur car lowered?
and if it is, is the camber greater in the rear?
Because if the camber is the inside of the rear tires is grabing those groves.

If ur using low profile tires the edge (depending on the tire) is alot sharper more of a 90 when on a conventionale tire they are smother and more round. So it will stick in those groves and pull the *** end around.

I'm guessing the freeway is concrete since you say there are groves in it. Get on an asphalt freeway at the same speed. If you still have the problems then you can rule out the groves.
Now if by groves you actually mean ruts, then you should do the opposite. Get on a concrete freeway. I have a friend w/ 40's on 16's in a Civic, and its very sensitive to ruts.
