Default --any good ECU chips?--

i want to know if there are actually any decent performance chips, maybe that could change me redline to about 9ish rmp

Yeah, ones that are based off a dyno tune of your setup.

What do you have done to the motor to warrant revving to 9k?

turbo within the next 2 weeks and i jst want to know of any good chips

If you will be installing a turbo soon, just wait until everything is installed and then have the setup properly dyno-tuned with a wide-band O2. You shouldn't be using a generic chip.

Defiantly.

Get yourself a EEPROM chip from xenocron.com
Or Moates.net. then get a base-map with turbo columns on it, to limp you to a dyno.

get it tuned, otherwise your gonna blow your motor and then your turbo setup is going to be for sale to fund your new motor

installing a turbo doesn't mean you'll be able to rev to 9k without blowing up your engine. leave the redline alone if you aren't done head work. like others said don't get a generic chip, get a socket put in and get it properly tuned.
