So I had my g/f's shop replace my axles because I really didnt have time to do it, anyways... a couple weeks later I noticed that my car was leaking from the passenger side at the tranny/axle seal. I'm pretty sure that the shop probably damaged the seal when they put the new one in, so my question is how difficult is it to replace the seal? Do I need any special tools to put a new one in? And, where can I buy a new seal? I dont want to take it back to the shop, so I am going to do it myself ( I really hate to have other people work on my car...I'm regreting taking it to them in the first place ) I am mechanically inclined, but This would be my first time doing this, so any help would be appreciated. buy the seal fom honda. it is not hard at all. just make sure the lip of the seal is lined up the the up of the tranny hole

 

from the dealership..... whats that gonna cost? They are always super expensive!

Well Im definitely in that price range How do I go about pulling the old one out and putting in the new one? Any special tools?
