i have a 92 civic cx, (dont have tach) so i got a Pivot tacho. but to cut things short i had a Vtec controler which told me my rpms (when it was at 7k) my Pivot tach red about 10k.. car got stolen... they took my vtec controler. so now i only got my tach, anyone know how to make it have an accurate reading? its connected to what ever wire it was sopost to be hooked up to by the install guide (which i cant find any more even while serching )

 

I would just Can the aftermarket tach and get an EX/Si cluster.

 

It was probably never calibrated for 4-cylinder use.

 

on the back of the box with **** make sure the button on inside is set to #2 position from the left

it goes #1 #2 #3 #4 first is for 3cyl then second for 4cyl then third for 5cyl and fourth for 6cyl
