Actually, almost EVERY part of the 05+ cars where changed/upgraded in some way.
DO a search on the changes for the 05 cars and you will see.

PRC Airbox inlet tube
PRC cams
higher flowing cat
PRC b-pipe
higher redline (8300 vs 8100)
stiffer rear engine mount
4.76 Final drive ratio
upgraded synchros in the tranny
7mm lower and stiffer suspension
larger front and rear sway bars
stiffer suspension bushings
increased caster angle for front struts
revised brake pedal mounting bracket for stiffer brake pedal feel
much nicer front seat leather and padding
stiffer front structure with larger strut tower bar
Just some of the stuff off the top of my head. I owned an 02 and 05 TypeS, and the 05 was better in every way.

Do you know if I just order a brake pedal assembly if it'll just swap right over or do I have to order a bunch of other parts? A stiffer brake pedal is always a nice thing to have!
I'm guessing it's just the brake pedal assembly is what's different?

The stock tach is not 100% accurate. I used to take my 05 RSX close to 8500 rpm indicated.

Actually, it is 73 lbs different and that is due to the significantly stiffer chassis (15% stiffer front, 21% rear), larger wheels, tires, sway-bars, exhaust, and seats.
I also managed to find the list of details from Honda:
Powertrain (Type-S only)
Engine modifications that boost the horsepower of the Type-S model to 210 at 7800 rpm
High performance camshafts
Larger intake duct
Large diameter exhaust pipe
High-flow catalytic converter
6-speed transmission optimized with a lower final gear ratio for quicker acceleration and carbon synchronizers replacing brass on 5th and 6th gears for a smoother shift feel
Chassis
Revised suspension tuning for increased handling precision and a smoother ride
Ride height reduced by 7 mm
More rigid stabilizer bars (front and back for Type-S, front for RSX)
Larger diameter front strut tower bar for Type-S
Inversely wound front springs
Refined steering system for enhanced feel and quicker response
Optimized braking system for increased stopping power and feel
Larger 17-inch alloy wheels and all-season high-performance tires on the Type-S
Body rigidity increased by 15 percent in front and 21 percent in the rear
NVH reduced
Body
More aggressive exterior styling with redesigned front and rear fascias
Redesigned signature 5-sided Acura grille
Redesigned side sills
Redesigned headlight and taillight assemblies
Deck lid spoiler added to Type-S models
Four new exterior colors: Magnesium Metallic, Vivid Blue Pearl, Jade Green Metallic, Blaze Orange Metallic
Interior
Deeply bolstered front seats with thicker cushioning material
New chrome and titanium-look accents
