Default Electrical help ASAP

Under the hood at the fuse block there are two 8 guage wires. One going to the starter and one going to the battery. The screw for the starter has stripped out apparently and can no longer be held tight. Question is can i double up the on the screw to the battery for time being without having a meltdown or any other adverse effects?

What do you mean by double up? Are you saying screw both wires down with one screw? I would advise against it
