clutch problems with my 93 del sol si
i've got a 93 del sol si with a jdm b16a swap in it. tonight i decided, in a really stupid move, to race my car. when i tried to shift at high rpms, say above 6,000, it was like i was shifting into a brick wall. it wouldn't go into any gear. i finally got it to go into 3rd and drove the car back home. after i let the car sit for a while and it cooled down it shifted just fine. but as soon as i tried to take it around 6,000 again, it wouldn't go into gear. also when i start out in 1st, the car kinda shutters, almost like the clutch is slipping. so i'm wondering could it be my clutch disc, throw-out bearing, pressure plate, or worse...synchos going bad? any input on my current problem is greatly appreciated.
oh yeah and btw the tranny's stock and the current clutch's that's in it is a exedy stage 2 that's about 3 1/2 years old.

one of my friends drove it this morning and it did the same thing to him, shifted nice at low rpms, but as soon as he went over 5,800-6,000 it didn't want to go into gear, just grinded and did nothing else. yeah i don't think it's friction related either, but the clutch does have a lot of mile on it. probably just going to change clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing and go from there.
