Default what title does your itr have

i sometimes wonder how many clean titled itrs are left and am curious because of the high theft rate and accidents. obviously, the title designations differ between state (or province), so if you own an R, i guess you can pick the one that best suits the description.

My title is clear, but if it were to end up inspected could easily change to off road.

Squeeky clean title.

Luckily, North Carolina is rather light on the inspection game... I just passed with testpipe.

Well, I have NEVER had mine inspected by the DMV/Government to ever get mine registered here in NV, and I've ALWAYS had it registered since I bought it new.

This thread will probably be inaccurate because everybody will chime in bragging they have clean titles.

....including myself.

Well if it stays around long enough and everyone is honest it should be pretty accurate. Good Poll IMO.

It is not current but you could extrapolate a yearly rate and make a good guess for what the current situation is.

My title is clear and in hand, I feel my car is pretty safe where I live. But then again you never know.

Ditto here in Raleigh. I hope they're light on me after I put 20% tint on my IS300.

no offense. but poll for how clean title, how many itr @ such place, how mony itr stock, n/a mods, turbo mods, and such. seems like someone fishing for information on how many still needs to be taken away.
if someone here is fishing. why not just say "itr owner list your address Poll".
no intention of offending you. just a thought.

If you're THAT paranoid then I think you should just stop posting and delete your account all together, and go into seclusion in a log cabin up in some mountain somewhere. You're the only one freaking out, and if someone wanted your address they'd already have it, not from this post alone...

...and why would it matter what kind of title it had anyway? You really think a thief gives two ***** about a clean title or not? The cars have the same parts no matter how you look at it bud.

not freaking out or paranoid. no offense but alot of this itr polls seems toward how many of them are still out there and ready to be pick. i had mine for several years now and never worry about being stolen. no alarm, no kill switch, etc, etc. its driven daily and never worry about it where i park it. i live in s.cal, los angeles area and i know 6-7 of them are stolen in the area and member here. most of the poll here are advertising and all you have to do is put time/effort reading post here and anyone can narrow the cities of user/s. its just a car with a small amount of people that value what it has/have to offer (performance per dollar). due to this there are a handfull of people that value how much money it will bring them (aka stolen part/s for sale). not starting a hate argument. after all there is a possibility someone could be fishing for info. you can start a poll but never replied back. people will say anything to stranger.
fyi. i'd rather see the satisfaction of leaving my car at the rail tracks than having a thief take it away. more value.

wow, who pissed in your cheerios?

am i asking for vins and addresses, or what type of security? no.

it's simply something i have been wondering since the car is such limited production (for north america) and such a dying breed due to theft. a vehicle with a clean title demands a premium price when it hits the market place. i was simply wondering at this rate how many clean titled itrs will be around 20 years down the road when they start hitting barett-jackson.

so you posted on a public internet forum that you have a itr in so.cal and you have no security for it, drive it daily and never worry about where you have to park it, yet you have a problem with a poll as innocent as this one? it sounds like you really don't care much about keeping it.

i started a poll. sorry i couldn't find a reason before this to respond back.
