Default is it bad to ride on blown shocks?

other then tire wear.. is it bad to ride on blown shocks? My front right just blew out. Theres shock fluid all over my suspension . I had my skunk2 sprigns on there less than 2000 miles, and they blew already. Then again, the shocks have 84k on them... The reason I ask is because I am going to Tampa for the summer for vacation. And I am planning to drive down there. I dont have the time to order shocks and put them on because I leave in less than a week.

I guess I'm kinda paranoid that my shock is gonna dry up and snap if I get a big pothole on the interstate =/.

so post a WTB thread on s2ki.com and do it yourself. its so easy to remove them.

Just get some cheapies from autozone for the drive to Tampa and back. Then order OEM ones after you get back.

Driving on blown shocks is flat out dangerous.
