Default Is it worth doing "poor man's ITR" set up on my GSR?

I have a 94 GSR w/ 143,xxx. The car still runs strong, but i'm thinking about going another route w/ my all motor set up. As of right now, i have ctr intake cam, cam gears, jdm p30 ecu, I/H/E and no cat! I had a skunk2 IM on the way, but i ended up getting scammed! Question is, if i can get a b16 head for cheap....should i build that head (port n polish head, itr manifold, etc.) and replace my GSR head w/ that? Worth the work and power? anybody else do a b18c block and b16a head swap?

The B16 head will drop your compression ratio about .2, ie... you will lose some Hp from that.

It is said that the B16 head flows better, but I would reckon they are the almost idential (flow wise) The B16's intake mani is more desirable, but since you can't fit it without cutting, just get a single runner aftermarket. I say build the GSR head instead of busting the mission of the b16, won't be worth it. The only downside to this is downtime.

Yeah, B16 heads are rather quite abundant. You will be able to find them but you will present yourself with a slight drop off in power as mentioned before. If it were me I would just P&P the GSR head and build the Skunk2 IM from a reputable place rather than someone on here.

Yep, If you're going to P+P it anyways you don't necessarily have to have a B16...both heade should turn out about equal.
