Default very dumb question but i just thought about it.............

i saw the fiberglass cloth that you use for fiberglass work...and i thought isnt header wrap just a thicker fiberglass? would you be able to use the fiberglass cloth on your headers if you can get it thick enough?

Just buy the header wrap that is publicly available. I know header wrap has fiberglass in it but I doubt that that is the only "ingredient" lol

On a side note, never let that **** his your forearms , talk about itchy.

the only way heat wrap will mess up your header would be if you were dumb enough to have a mild steel header and not sand and paint it due to moisture getting under the heat wrap. then thats your fault even if you have an awesome header...

If you let moisture hang around any material long enough, oxidation is going to happen, I don't care what kind of steel your header is made of.

Header wrap is nothing like fiberglass cloth. You have obviously never seen either, but I promise you they are very different.
