Default help on kyb agx!!!

im using the kyb agx and ground control coils.. i just want to know how come when i hit some pot holes or some bumps it sounds like its hitting something or its jst stiff?? i only set it to 2 in front and 3 at the back...does it have to do with the bump stop or my suspension bushing is messed up???

well what springs are on the GC? the Eibach's? if so its pretty stiff.....plus since you have nothing in the rear your probably bottoming out the shock! KYB suggest you trim the bumpstop, not remove it completely.

I've been running KYB's for years on two sols. If the front is slammed to the point of no wheel gap, you're probably bottoming out the suspension. I hit a big pot hole the other night with my DD and had it happen.
Just setting it up a half in taller, or running the shocks on 4, I've never had a problem.
On 2, it's a lot more smooth in general, sometimes under damped, and I've bottomed things out here and there. 2 is great for long drives on a sol. 3 seems to be the magic number for DD. 4 is auto-x day setting.
