Default CF USDM 98-01 VIS Front Lip Fitment Off?

Today I installed my new 98-01 USDM carbon fiber VIS front lip, but the fitment on the sides are off. It seems like it should extend to the end of the bumper more. The package says 98 Integra on it. Any ideas on what to do?

u have to squeeze it on, take off teh bumper and install it off the car, push the bumper sides inward and stretch the lip on , screw the side in at a time, should work like that, most lips in that form have to be put on like that from like knowledge, unless im gettin jacked up lips as well

stretch the lip itself slightly and at the same time compress the sides of the bumper to get it on (the lip will stretch a certain amount...i had the same problem), it'll fit neatly once you get it over the bulging outer parts of the bumper (at the very back corners) Like said above its a lot easier to do when you remove the bumper completely.

A lot of the VIS lips are like this. They fit pretty much perfect. We had the same experience trying to put on the VIS spoon replica CF lip onto a EG, but we mananged to get it on with a little patience.

Take it off, use two zipties to hold it in the middle. Then pull the sides around the edge. The zipties will give you a little play for adjustment. Then when the sides are on bolt the middle part back on.

Like others said, take the bumper off, much easier.

If its any help, mine was the same, but with the same method I got it to look like this...even though its a 94-97 and Spoon lip, the idea is still the same.
