Hey all, Ive been having trouble with my car starting lately, where it won't turn over at all sometimes but if you tap the starter solenoid it will turn over. Ive got a 93 sol with a ob1 jdm B16 swap. When I went to get a new starter at the local parts shop and asked for a starter for a 1994 del sol VTEC (since I assumed they were all the same), it was not the same as the one off the car. The mounting areas dont line up between the two. Is the starter really different between the B16A2 and A3? And if so, can anyone tell me where I can get the right one? The part off the car says it is a Mitsuba SM40216N. I would greatly appreciate any help from you knowledgeable Honda folks .
