i just swapped in a b18c (gsr motor) and kept the jdm intake mani on along wi tthe throttle body and the usdm throttle cable doenst work i tried using the usdm bracket but wont help since the butterfly "rotor" thing is different the cable ends up on teh wrong side...any ideas? what do i neeed

 

I just asked the same question and was told to use a usdm TB and run the cable along the firewall and over/under the intake. Also I had to use the bracket that came with the "jdm" TB that screws in next to the linkage.

 

i just switched the spring and rotor thing on the tb and used the usdm bracket and worked great

 

how were you able to take the linkage/rotor and spring to come off? I half-assly tried for like 5 min and decided to use my old TB. I didnt wanna do it but it was there and it worked.I would like to do it your way,can you tell me how?

if u just unscrew the bolt it pops off with some force then just slide the new one on and tighten it
