intake valve stuck open...
Why is it stuck open and how do you know that it is stuck open? Is it a leaking vlave determined by a lea-down test or is it actually open? You will most likely need to pull the head.
i did a compression test on the motor and it had 0 psi. by the way, its a freshly rebuilt motor with all new rings and seals and gasets. plus it is like coughing through the intake manifold whenyou open the throttle. which leads me to believe that theres an intake valve open.
If a valve is stuck open from being bent, the answer is no.
Did you pull the valve cover and turn the motor over by hand? Check your cam gears too.

no the compression is around 200 on all but number 1 and this engine was JUST rebuilt i have only started it like 5 times since the rebuild. can it be stuck open without being bent??

i am doing a valve adjustment, but he adjusting nut is extremely hard to move, is there a trick to getting these to move?? i really dont wanna strip these out any help will be great thanks!!
The jam nut should release easily if all is well. If the jam nut is seized to the tappet adjusting screw, the screw should still loosen. If both the jam nut and tappet adjusting screw are seized, you may need to replace the affected rocker.
