i got a 97 ls teg shell without the engine bay harness. What is need to get the obd-1 ls b18b swaped in and running good? Is it doable to just get a obd-1 bay harness and "plug and play it?" let me know what is needed. I would even be willing to get the obd-1 dash harrness too if needed. thanks

 

Get the obd2 harness. There are going to be some differences between the obd1 and 2 motors, mainly obd1 missing the secondary O2 plug. So if you want to run a stock obd2 ecu, you are going to need to run that other obd 2 plug.

 

i was just told that the 97 tegs were obd-1 . is this ture??

 

No. -91 obd0, 92-95 obd1, 96+ obd2
