Alright heres the deal, my cars a 95 si(d16z6) motor. And it seems to idle really low, causing my car to vibrate. i adjusted the idle adjustment screw but no matter how much i turn it it doesnt seem to make a difference. im guessing turning it right is to lower idle and left to raise idle am i correct? i cleaned out my fitv as someone in the tech forum posted. cleaned out iacv. i dunno whats the problem. can anyone help me out here.
I think there is a forum on here that says you have to plug the diagnostic port by the ecu with a paper clip because the ecu will just change it back no matter what you do with the screw.... do a search....

i am interested in this too. i have cleaned the TB but nothing else. my idle sometimes goes so low that my car stalls out.
one suggestion i will make is the o2 sensor might need a cleaning.

If your IACV is broken or not functioning correctly, then the idle screw wont affect anything. Also, make sure you dont have any vaccum leaks anywhere, that would cause a bad idle. What CEL's are you getting?

im getting no cel's. my car doesnt idle low enough to stall, but idles low enough that the steering wheel shifter and door panals begin to shake. and its been tested for vacuum leaks and theres none. how do you test if your iacv is working properly?
