how is the powerband??? Is it mostly high end, or midrange? Anyone else have comments on this Supercharger?

 

ive noticed gains all around... the sc is so nice b/t 5-8 grand with vtec comin in round 4200... i need new tires, but the wheels spin 2nd and even 3rd..

 

how many lbs are you running ? and is the bottom end stock ?

 

at about 8 grand 9psi

 

I would highly recommend getting the aftercooler to fit on the car. Major gain in performance.

i got few friends with vortech sc in their, also a guy with si has JC sc, but they told me that the vortech sc is laggin compare with JC sc is that ture? I saw them race, the guy with vortech put down 240 whp, and JC guy put down 210 whp but JC won!?! wat about it? can anyone explain?

 

From what I have seen the Vortech SC makes more peak Hp than the JRSC. But, the JRSC has better midrange and low end.

Peak numbers are great to look at but more area under the Hp and torque curves will win in real world conditions.

someone posted a overlap of jrsc graph ontop of a vortech a while ago. the jrsc ate the vortech up all over except peak.
