Building a d16z6
Hey guys, I'm under my friends username, but anyway...I have a 94 Si and I want to build my engine this summer. I'm working for an engine shop, so I get no labor charge-free port/polishing, free honing, free valve jobs, etc. I want to build the bottom end slightly, moly coat the pistons, etc, with some good chrome moly rings. For the head, slighlty port intake, more port exhuast, and polish, 3 angle valve job, mill head, and do a head package, not sure which once yet. And rebuild my tranny with a new clutch. Anybody have reccomendations on what setup to do? Want to run a mildly high compression, about 10.5 to 1. Give me some input, thanks, check out my friends car, thanks...

I would if I had money for the turbo, so I just wanna have a reliable, quick car. Eventually I'm going to build a swap for it, probably GSR, but for now, since I can get most the work for cheap, if not free, I could only have 700 bucks into it, without the head package, and that's including a Honda tech rebuilding my tranny and a new clutch. So, since I gotta pay for school, gotta have a good compromise. Could afford a b16 swap now, but kinda wanna build one just for personal satisfaction, built a 350 for my 70 chevy truck tho!!! Wish I could go turbo, but not now...thanks tho
