I came across a gauge cluster has a redline of 8 thosand or so and it lights up red...the guy says it's from a GSR. Did GSR gauge clusters come in red and redline so high. If anybody knows thanks in advance.

i dont think they came in red but im pretty sure they do redline around there...like 8200 or something like that?

yes $85 is HIGH, check EBAY.
and there are 3 bubls in the back you can switch out to be whatever color you want...

 

i got my 98 gsr cluster for 50 and THAT was high. dont pay 85... thats ridiculous

if its a gsr cluster it will redline at 9,000 so if its only going up to 8,000 then its not a gsr

uhhh what the hell are you talking about?

gsr's redline at 8000.

S2000's redline at 9000 though... ap1s anyway.

 

yeah i belive LS is 6800, GSR is somewhere in the neighborhood of 8200. and isnt type R like 8400?

 

Yeah i think your right, cuz my ls is 6800 and i've seen type r clusters before and they're around 8400.

ummm nope.

like most people have said its right at 8,100. Thats what my GSR is. It did not come red factory but as someone said the bulbs have probably been replaced with red ones.

Redline on a gsr cluster is 8100 rpm.

 

yeah 85$ is a lot. GSR redline starts at 8100 and type-r starts at 8400

 

yup i go with everyone except cxr guy.

 

My GSR redlines at 8k.

GSR redline is at 8100 RPMs, not 9000, not 8200, and not 8300

LS is at 6800

Type R is at 8400
