2 dead coils in less than a week

2 dead coils in less than a week
my pos has baked 2 coils in about a 4 day span. it runs fine at first, then it just quits. the ****** has left me on the highway twice...i'm not looking for a 3rd..
anybody know of any grounds to check? any tests i should do?
