yeah its a 17. One way to get it off if you dont have an impact gun is to take the protective plate that covers the flywheel and get pry bar and wedge it in the teeth and have a 1/2 inch 17 along with a long extention connected to your 1/2 wratchet. You may need a cheater bar on it. Thats a long pipe slid over the wratchet handle. It takes a bit of elbow grease to get it off. And maybe a few cuss words.

yeah, sometimes the impact guns just dont cut it. I used a 3/4 inch impact gun (which is ****** massive) and it still didnt bust one loose. We had to get a 5 foot cheater bar on a 1/2 inch ratchet to bust it loose. But your going to need a pry bar that wont move at all wedged in the flywheel.

get a ****** snap on impact, and a craftsman air compressor, with a craftsman air hose, oil the gun and try that... because it all depends on the impact, the hose and thje compressor

ok tuff guy, I used my snap on impact and that **** just doesnt come off sometimes. Impact guns are nice sometimes but they dont always get the job done. Like I said before I didnt just use a 1/2 inch impact gun, I used a ****** 3/4 inch impact gun. That is like ****** heavy duty impact gun for high torque and trucks, i could barely hold on to the damn thing. It was turning my wrist. But the damn bolt wouldnt come off. We had to literally get a 5 foot cheater bar and hang on it for it to break loose.

A cheater bar on a 1/2 inch will get you so much leverage. That **** will come right off.
