02 GSXR for a Nintendo Wii+Ipod..... would you?
So I found this ad:
"2002 Suzuki 650 Salvage, 9560 miles on it. black/chrome, full face shoei helmet inc. it runs great/looks great, needs front brake pads, and a rear turn signal cover.as is,no papers, I board and train horses, the bike was left here along with the horses, and the guy skipped town, its been a year and a half, ive sold the horses,tack,now im gonna trade the bike, i,ll trade it for a Nintendo Wii + an Ipod, if you want to trade email me, if not dont waste mine or your time, if no one wants to trade i'l strip it down and sell it on ebay, wont last long"
I emailed the poster and waiting for his response. Do you think its worth it?

a 650 is an SV, not a GSXR.
That bikes in great condition is worth like 3500 tops. With the way it sounds I wouldn't give up a perfectly good wii+ipod for a headache.

only if you have nothing else to do. unless you made doing stuff like this your fulltime job/business, the work required doesnt seem worth it for some spending cash. get the wii and the new rayman game, forget about the bike and call it a day.

sure it will be more parted out. wheels, forks, triples, lines, MC's, tank, etc will add up to a nice piece of change.
but the big ticket items (frame, title) will be hard to fence without good numbers; and if the numbers arent clean, it'll be even harder to move the parts

You'll get at least a couple hundred bucks for the frame as long as its not stolen. I just sold a no title clean frame for $200.
Either that or flip it as a track bike.

I just got a email from the guy and yeah its a SAVAGE. I typed in GSXR and that ad came up. Oh well, still thinking about it jsut for fun.
