Default Is 93 good for 12.5:1 compression?

My ls/v setup is going to end up being 12.5:1, is this gonna be ok with the right tune?

you can run that much compression but you wont be able to run very much ignition timing. i would go a little lower and keep your timing up.

That statement is only true when using a small cam.

I am running 35 degrees of timing at WOT on 12:1 with Pro3's. I am not limited on my timing numbers by knock, but rather I stop making power at 36deg. Whereas, when I was running ITR cams, I couldn't push more than 18deg.

Yep, I have no issues at all. I run low timing on the small lobe but have no problems at all up top once it crosses over. It's very streetable and has plenty of low end even with conservative timing.

Sure can, we have put together a few in your area. Are you going an all oem build, or aftermarket? I take it you are considering 12.5:1 shelf pistons? Contact me if you need any help. I have an all-motor 2000 hatch I'm putting together right now.
