Default Subharness

I need this harness.. i think. Is this the harness that goes from the ecu to the driver side strut tower?

http://store.jdmcars.com/merch...iring

If this is the correct piece, anybody recommend this site to purchase it from? If not where is a place that will have it?

If you dont go obd1 dont bother, none of them will be worth it to buy... How to you plan on activating vtec?

I just happened to think (nothing good can come of that eh?), everyone runs OBD-1 for SOHC VTEC motors and says you can't run them OBD-0... Couldn't you run a chipped B16A VTEC ECU? I understand it wouldn't be the most effective way to run the motor but it'd acctually have the 2 fuel/timing profiles unlike an rpm switch or VAFC or something. Is there some reason that wouldn't work?

B16a uses knock and 2 o2's... if you "chip" it with a sohc map it would work, but all the base "chips" are pig rich dohc maps. Ya you can tune a obd0 setup, but if your gunna bother with tuning just use a decent program like crome or hondata.

Yeah, by chip I was meaning a chip burned be a sohc vtec map. Interesting... I may have to test out this theory someday cuz I have a PR3 ecu and my friend has a Y8 head layin around that i've been toying with the idea of throwin on my D15B2. I even have a hacked up B16A engine harness and an extra knock sensor so I could really do it without spending any money other than chipping the ECU.
If I were to do it I'd just throw it on my friend's dyno, hook up my wideband to it, and tune it myself.

Works... But I know some of the people that had a hand it turboedit (obd0 tuning software) and they wont even tune with it

I saw an old Hondata (Stage 4 IIRC?) OBD-0 ecu on ebay long ago, If I find a Hondata OBD-0 ecu I'd be more apt to acctually do it.
