im confused biggtime guys what do u guys think?
last week i swapped out my b16 intake manifold into a blox one, drove it home from homeboys shop drove fine everything then today i decide to put on my AEM fuel rail i bought. now with those spacers on the studs for the rail nuts(3), the injectors dont go in all the way they stay about quarter inch out then i tried with the stodk railing same thing but i dont understand it drove home fine no fueal leaks when i checked with a flashlight but now it wont go in all the way very amazing wierd problem do you gys have any ideas anything will help i thought lose the round spacers put a few washers on the top and put the nuts on what do you think because the threads on the studs dont even go that low any help would be appreciated THX IN ADVANCE
Ummmmmmmmmmmm Oh yeaaaa, ohhh yeaaaaa. lol I cant seem to understand the process of confusion you are In.
I had the EXACT same problem with my Skunk2 IM. Took me some thinking but I did what you mentioned. Took out the spacers and got some washers. Just go to your local ace or whatever and get some small washers. I think its about 3 washers on each one (depending on how thick they are). After that my injectors sit in there perfect and have had no problems since then.
when those round black spacers are on the rail wont go low enough to clear the injector into the manifold not even the stock one
ya thats what i would think would be best thx i just wanted to make sure someone else did that and had no problems
when you transfered the studs from the old manifold to the new one, did you make sure you put them in the same way?
cuz i ran into a similar issue on my manifold a while ago...turns out i had put the studs in the wrong way...flipped em and the problem resolved itself....its ok to have a little play in the injectors, just as long as there is no air/gas leak....just use all new bushings and o-rings and youll be set.

I had the same problem with the jackson racing manifold. You need to buy 7mm washers because the unthreaded portion of the stud is slightly larger than 6mm, and then I got the proper 6mm locknuts
