If you go with the cams/intake manifold option, tuning is the way you are actually going to make the most power from those mods. Just keep that in mind.

$600 won't buy you anything worthwhile.

x2, parts are pricey, that will get you a good header (i.e. rage, hy-tech tri-y header, SMSP, etc) or a set of new cams skunks2, BC4's, etc.

i dont know what kind of smsp header yall baught but mine was almost 1500 shipped then again it was port matched to my head and its custom made but still my other smsp thats just one of there best ones they make just not custom cost me 1300 shipped so i dont think you will be buying a good smsp for 600 but you can buy mine for 1k plus shipping and its never been used but then again you only have 600 bills so never mind also hy-techs arent cheap either

Nitrous. With 600 bucks thats all you can do to get noticable power. You aren't going to see power from just pistons you arent going to see noticable power from cams or a header or any type of bolt ons. If you want noticable power you have to spend money.

Do your research and make your own header that is rated for the flow of your engine. Huge gains can be found over even the top of the line general header on the market. Known as header tuning.

for $600, you're not going to get anything that will wow you, but you could invest in a few things that will make your car a little faster....

If i was in your situation, i would save.....nitrous would be about the only option if you wanted a noticeable power gain

yeah man 600 bucks aint gonna do much for you like they have said thats the cost of a decent set of headers you need a power adder not more bolt ons that youll eventually be useless and have to sell once you make decent power go to homemadeturbo.com and school yourself

Do you track the car (autocross, road circuits, drag), maybe instead of focusing on pure power or how fast you can push the thing or how fast the car can go. Maybe you should get some good shocks and springs lower the car a few inches, maybe body work and decent lip kit and spoiler, new/bigger sway bar, high performance tires and wheels, short shifter.

Unless you drag the car or like to full on race people on the freeway, those would also be good mods for your car, speaking from a personal experience, on the road circuit tracks at least, the fastest car doesnt always win, I've seen integras passing a 911 turbo, simply because the guy in the intega is a better driver and can take corners faster than the guy in the porsche.

Anyways just a few suggestion
