ok so now that ive finally upgraded the suspension on my car...its time to work on the motor...anyone out there with a b18b1 list some of the mods theyve done that increase their HP and TQ...my swap came with a stage 3 clutch, but i was told that its not doing much since my motor is stock wit just an intake and exhaust

 

the clutch will shorten your 1/4 mile time slightly, that serious of a clutch is kind of pointless on such a stock car such as yours but let us know your goals for the car such as hp, budget and what its going to be used for and maybe people will be able to help you a little better

BUT if you just want a general list of upgrades to make your car more powerful...

Cams, pistons/rods, bore, turbo, Intake manifold, exhaust header, PnP, ITB's... the list goes on and on so more info would help

 

same here man i have a b16b1 but maybe a lil stuff on it like intake. cams and gears stage 1 intake manifold. fuel rail throttle body and like stage 2 clutch . but i just got the car and it has that. righ now im planning to go ls/vtec and build the head and block for some boost. but i wanna do it right so i dont blow. ill love the 300 hp mark and thats it nothing big. so if anyone can help me out too and give opinons and advice ill apreciate it too. thanks

 

hey whats up dude i own a 92Da and am looking 2 do some upgrades.
i have a stock b18 with just intake exhaust and headers.

ok well my goal is just to get it faster...about around 200 hp would do it for now...i plan on going turbo sometime in december when it gets cold lol but i want to know what i can do right now to make it faster so i can beat some of these guys at the meets over here in houston...i want to atleast be able to run against a slightly built gsr

 

200 na hp is gonna be hard to do. i say save your money and go with boost.

 

turbo is the only way to go.

 

well my plan was to use my tax return ill be getting back in january on a turbo setup..so the money im making right now will go on building the engine

 

yea dude same here iam trying 2 get my baby boosted up for the races over here in la.
iwas thinking of going K_series with my Da9 but its alot of money im most likely 4sure going with Ls/Vtec.
