Default Misha's 91 DX (lots of pics)

I know this is a freaken NOVEL, but you shoudl check it out, at least skim through

May 2010:

As of Aug 2009:

*********

JULY 1ST 2009, HAPPY CANADA DAY

IM BACK AND RUNNING AGAIN, WILL UPDATE THIS THING

I know there is alot of pages, but there is alot of updates, so scroll down, check it out. Leave some love

*****

This is how the car looked in the first week, May 5th 2005:

than a little after i bean searching for a lip, got a 89 camry and made it fit;

also i got a rear lip along with the amber corners and side markers.

and my first performance upgrade

than i basically had to get a tach and some 89 integra seat felt like a very nice upgrade:

in the winter i couldnt work much on it because of the school, so there was nothgin going on with the car, but i managed to put this in while it was - 25 C out side

fits like ****(didnt take long for me to go SI cluster instead

My old concole, now sold to My_EFsedan

Canada weather, it was so nice out, not a puddle so i washed my car:

same evening:

So, closer to the end of the winter and soe finals i got more time to do things to my car:

and then i got some new yellow lights, whicht i made to fit in the high bean housing so i could run yeallow day lights like tegs do

and then a mail man brought me some more goddies

nothing major, but as i said its my firts actually seriouse car, so

new skirts are on, lets just say i liked to experiment a little...

this is how the car looked in the end of april 2007

and then i got new brakes, Canadian Tire for FTW!

so finally i got really tired of ugly bay and desided to do some more work:

more to come

so in the beging of the may i rellay started to work on it as much as i can so i could do more on the weekends:
Some got some clening up to do :

MPFI swap and lowered

a little bit of confusion with the hoses but i got it all sorted out by putting a TY connection in one of them:

and my cv was ripped so i had to replace that as well

so May 16 2007, finally got to do some suspension work on the sedan:

H&R springs with kyb, not half bad

EK springs i didnt end up using and ebay coilovers

front done

and finally how the car looks as for today may 24th 2007, sorry for the bad pics i just got to excited and had to take some shots:

freaken bolt broke off, so im waiting on the bushing to come in and cant drive it for a while

not really a beater , im just a poor art student
i think white wheels would look kinda cheap, but may be something to consider, we'll see.

Those are some interesting Rotors. What is the point of making the slots look like atoms? Wouldn't the gasses just flow back into the groove? Good looking car, now that it's dropped. I was hoping for some lowering, that made all the difference! What is next performance wise?

thanks guys, ya i thought about the black, and it if i would wanna go with some dark colour, i figure i should do somethign wierd like this green, but again i might change it up a bit later.

For the susp. i used EK springs in the front, they were supposed to be 1.85 drop, but the car went down 2.5 in the fron and eems that itwill be a little bit lower after it settles more.

EK springs didnt wanna work in the back at all, lol they raised the sedan about 2 inches first in the back, so i had to use coil overs, they ride ok. I did drove t around the block that i saw taht bolt really moving so i parked it.

Havnt drove it for a week now, but im gonna put a new bushing hopefully tomorrow so it will be all good

Ohh, thats a pretty rare console to find in Canada. I'm looking for one for my Hatch. How do you install it? Do you just have to buy that one extra middle piece or do you have to buy the whole thing for it to fit?
