I have a Ef9 i want to convert to RHD I have the whole front clip i just wanna know wassup with the vins and what is the correct procedure ive serched the forums and all they say is to get it certified by the chp and get a vin re assighnment is this ryt ????? trust me my older bro work for the chp orange county he said its legal. just make sure u have all yur vin# on dash, door etc... what kind of convertion r u doing? front clip or firewall?

I had an ED6, 88 civic STD. So glad I got rid of it.

Good call, It could be an ED6 as well. Point is it's not an EF9.

 

Alright, his English is all botched up but his question is pretty simple...he just wants to know if he's gonna be ok with mismatching VINs if he gets checked. It's common knowledge that the conversion is legal in CA, but I can't answer the question because I don't know if you're supposed to swap the VINs out or where they're even located on an ED...I'm sure somebody can answer this clearly.

To the OP- when somebody asked you what way the conversion was being done, you didn't seem to know the answer. You should read up on this process more because there is a cheap, shitty method and a quality method to converting to RHD.

What the **** are you talking about? Did I say **** to you? All I said is that he should learn a little about RHD conversions before taking his car somewhere and trusting that it's going to be done right. There are different ways of doing it, some of which are ghetto methods that aren't safe. Yes, you can read about things and learn; perhaps that sort of thing is a stumbling block at your literacy level.

None of what you're saying in this thread makes any sense. You're claiming ridiculous **** about how it doesn't matter who does the work, about how you "just gotta know how to do it," acting like the OP thinks he's the first to convert....whatever.
