Default anyone bought one of those CAIs from ebay ?

I am almost ready to get one from ebay but just wanted to check if anyone here got one from ebay and worked out well or not.

Besides the price what I find attractive about some of those intakes is that they have a 3" pipe, whereas most branded ones I looked at are mostly 2.5".
Another thing is that I already have a nice AEM Dryflow 3" filter that I am looking to re-use with this pipe.

btw, will the 3" size be ok for a 6th gen ('99) 4cyl accord ? I know they have size reducers to fit the TB opening but I was asking more in terms of overall fit, especially going thru the "8" shaped hole in the chassis where the resonator and scoop was.

Thoughts anyone about this ?

either use you stock piping with a better filter or go to an auto store and buy one of their tubes. tubing does matter much, as fast as the air get sucked in, it doesn't have much time to heat up or cool down.

I don't know what the hell he's talking about....

Buy an Ebay SRI or CAI and toss on an AEM or K&N filter

its a short ram, but I got it on ebay and threw on a better filter. It works amazing, 3 inch piping, shiny. FTW!

I used to have one of those eBay special SRIs on my Accord, but then I just got an AEM SRI not too long ago.

Did you notice any difference at all from the change?
