Default k20 swap w/o the key

Well i bought the motor from a junkyard they gave me the trans, axles, motor, and ecu. What they didnt know was the they needed to give me the key and ignition system well the car is crushed and they dont have any other k20a2's. Honda wont give me a key cause honda doesnt recommend swapping motors blah blah blah and it has to be that exact car . So is their any way to bypass the key fab? I heard a gsr computer or the aem stand alone. http://hopupracing.com/aemplplprenm3.html through the list their it says k series swap. So im guessing that would take care of it.

Ive never heard of anyone swapping out their ignition systems and using an acura rsx key for their k swap. I can't imagine it being necessary.

Forgive me if I'm reading it wrong.

So the stock rsx ecu will work? with my normal key? Also the stock rsx axles wont work to right or do i have to order hasport axles?

Uh, you'd run the rsx ecu, but you'll keep all your stock ignition components as far as your key and actualy ignition go.

No need to swap that out, i doubt they're even compatible.

No swap should designate the use of that engines key/ignition setup.

even if it were to work youd need a pink slip and registartion in your name forthem to chip it, just keep your rsx ecu and run kpro \

for axles easiest route is to go hasport, but you can make an axel for it i forget what to do but people do it

Good stuff. I was thinking about ordering the Hasport axles anyhow. The Stock ek rad wont be enough to cool the k20 right?

the stock radiator is fine, you have to buy custom hoses or find some hose thatll work becuase the ports are on the oppsite side of the motor, dude just go to hasport down load their thing for the k swap and look at other peoples projects its not a simple b swap btw

k20a.org

kseries.org

Something like that.

Do a google search for k20 forums.

This 92-00 civic forum is rather unfamiliar with k20's.
