Now that I have your attention
A while back, I bought a Rick's S2K Team VooDoo ****. Love the thing, great feel, great weight, great height. I ordered it in a "spun" finish, which was like a textured satin. Lately, I had noticed some odd spots, like it was tarnishing.
So what do we do to tarnished things? We polish them.
I used Mother's Mag + Aluminum Polish followed by Mother's Billet Mirror Polish. The results were more than I expected. Turns out it wasn't tarnished, the finish was just coming off. It took off all of the satin finish and left behind a mirror-faced ball. I am quite pleased, considering the mirror-faced one they sell is a couple bucks extra.

The mag polish took the finish off and made it shine. The billet polish make it a more mirror finish.

I decided to give it a couple times over with a Mother's Powerball, first with mag polish, then with the billet. The results speak for themselves.
Here it is compared with an electroplated chrome part:

Didn't Escher do something like this?
