Default EF motor

My car is running fine but I feel a little misfire, and now my question is, are the spark plugs suppose to have fuel on it? Because When I removed them from the engine, there was fuel on them. But one was dry. now could it be that one cylinder with the dry spark plug causing misfire?

Was it on the ceramic portion of the spark plug? The white part? If so, your spark plug tube seals are leaking down into the tube. You need to replace your valve cover gasket and the spark plug seals. That's oil in there. It can cause a missfire. You may also want to do the ignition wires.

no it wasn't the white part. It was the part that actually sparks, the side with threads. I just replaced the plugs and spark plug wires. And it didn't look or smell like oil, I'm pretty sure it was fuel. fuel on the threads side, not white side.

So is there suppose to be fuel on the threaded side? because three plugs have fuel on them and one is just dry?

thanks for the suggestions.

If your car is running too rich, this would be a problem...

What kind of engine and modifications do you have?

Edit: I cannot post again today, but yes, you need to have fuel on the spark side of the plug, that's how it ignites and powers your car.

You have have flooded the vehicle by pumping the gas while you were about to shut it off, or some other such thing. The important thing is the color of your plugs. The way a spark plug ages and burns will tell you quite a bit about your engine.

You could also be running an ECU that feeds your too much fuel, you could have a spark knock problem, etc... however, it's more than likely nothing that will harm your engine.

I got a d16z6 stock. I might be running too rich.

But are there suppose to be fuel on the spark side of the plugs? I need to know, maybe one of my injectors is goin bad or clogged.
