Default DPFI to MPFI swap-code4

I have a '90 CRX DX that I did a MPFI swap on last weekend and I am getting a code 4 crank angle error code. I have a PM6 ecu, intake manifold, injectors, and a TD-18U distributor all from a single source (a '90 CRX Si that had been wrecked) and a wiring harness made for this swap. I have searched the archives before asking on here and most posts say to check my wiring. I have checked it many times and my C1, C2, B10 and B12 all test good from distributor to the ecu harness plug . I have checked my ground connections. I was not sure of the age of the donor distributor so I bought one from Distributor King(TD-02XP) and I am still getting a code 4. Can the PM6 ecu have a fault in it that would give this code?
Sorry for the long post but it is my first one and I don't want to get flamed for lack of imformation. My car, like several others in the archives won't run above 3K rpms.

Have you tried another ecu?

why dont you try another ecu its not the dizzy obviously and if the wiring is right then thats not it either my next source would try and source a ECU.

This is what im doing because i was throwing a code 10 intake air temp and drove like that for a month and the car ran good and out of know where my car dies and i have no ground for #2,#3,#4 inj so i got another ecu

that would be my guess

I have another PM6 ecu coming tomorrow to try. I really wanted a PO8 ecu and a TD-42U distributor to be my next purchases for the D15B VTEC and Si transmission that I picked up to put in at a later date, but I knew I had to convert to MPFI anyway and I had everything for the swap(I thought so anyway).

When i did my MPFI swap i first threw this code as well. Turned out it was my wiring at the ecu.

At spot b12 there was an existing wire, i had spliced into that instead of depinning and repinning the new wire. I fixed that, and the code went away.

I finally fixed it. I will swallow my pride and admit my mistake in case anyone else does a search. While I was depinning the harrness plugs the tabs that make contact with the ecu pins were opened up to much. I depinned B10, B12, C1 and C2 to check them and then pushed the side pins in and tried just a single wire at a time on an ecu pin. I then bent the spring part back up and reinserted back in harness plug and reinstalled the white retainers. No more code 4
