What kind of system setup do you have in your Integra?
I was just curious on what type of audio setup you have on your Integra, style wise. Where is your amp placed? Do you have a box in the trunk? Thinks like that. Anyone with pics?
Since this was a question directed to Integra owners I felt that this question should be posted here. If I seemed to have offended people I aplogized in advance. I never knew that this forum was for technical aspects only. Since when did post like, "post pics of your ride" or "which rims should I get" or "what color or body kit is this" became a technical aspect.
Kewnwood 300watt amp, 2 polk audio 10"'s in seperate boxes in the trunk... older model pioneer headunit... amp is under my seat, subs in boxes in the back... sounds nice no OVERLY bass'ed out system here, its clean and adjusted correctly.

First I bought a $50 sub thinking I'll just get a cheap amp and leave it at that... After buying a friggin $250 amp, I had to get a $100 wiring setup and a $200 Cap. At least I got the Deck for my birthday
400W 10" Pioneer sub
Audio Acoustics 820 Watt Amp (460 RM)
Lighting Audio 1 Farad Cap
Thinking if the min. wattage for 2 Hex 10" Xtants will go with my amp then I might just buy those.

Premier DEH 720 deck, MB Quart component speakers, xtant 4 ch amp, JL 12w3, Rockford 800a2 amp. It sounds good.
I just have some decent aftermarket speekers, front and back, and an 8" tube to add a little to the bottom end. nothing special.
I don't have a head unit, but after seeing that some of the new ones have HDs and can store MP3s, I might get one when they come down to a reasonable price.

if you try to conceal it, they will assume you have some high dollar comp system in your car, just say you have some speakers you picked up from radio shack, that is what I have!
50Wx5 Alpine Deck
MB Quart 6.5" in the front
MB Quart 6x9 in the back (I have a sedan)
Infinity Basslink 10" 200w self-powered subwoofer
probably putting in an amp to power my quarts later on....

True...well I'm not sure about the amp...should I get an amp to power the rear speakers or the front? Or both?? I know amps will make them sound a lot better but I haven't really done a lot of research.
no reason not to do both. just be sure that the amp is after the split for the 10", since that is already amped, it is not good to have an amp feeding another amp, the best thing that will happen in that case is you will blow your amp running your 10".
edit: you will be _very_ supprised with the clarity and quality of sound from the MB once they are amped.
heh, no amp on those speakers is like turboing your car, but leaving the stock exhaust on it.

I've got a
Pioneer HU
Boston 6.5" in the doors (lower to the bottom of the line)
Infinity Reference 6.5" in the rear (good budget sound)
Kicker 25*4 powering the inside speakers (under the pass. seat)
Two 10" Kicker Comp's in a sealed box
MTX Thunder 240 powering the subs (maybe 100 watts each speaker, under driver seat)
A collection of wiring
Sounds good for a poor college kid that bought it all himself

Okay the part about the amp feeding another amp is confusing me. I know a decent amount about audio and my deck has two sets of preouts one is going to my sub, which has a built in amp that is powering the sub. I figured if I added another amp I could just use the other set of preouts and hook up my speakers.
Oh and btw to power 4 speakers I have to get a 4-channel amp correct? Or is there a way to do it with a 2 channel?

I'm on my 3rd system as of now:
downgraded to Sony cdx M610 head unit...had Nakaimichi before
Boston acoustic mids and tweets
Kenwood 600 amp....good amp for $200! LOL
Q logic 12" sub box
1 12" JL Audio W3
the box sits behind my rear strut bar...so i have minimal trunk room because of the strut bar. Amp is mounted to the back seat. Kind of miss my 2 !2" JL's now tho
