called greddy, question about type R bov and 60-1 turbo fitment
I called greddy and they said that the type S blow off valve should be used up to 20psi and the type R should be used ONLY above 20psi. I thought that was odd that it could only be used about 20psi, so I called back and asked a different guy. Same answer. My situation is I am going to run 10-15psi on the street but 20-25 at the track on a 60-1 turbo. I just want a blow off valve that will handle those situations.
Next question, what manifold can I get that will minimize the amount of cutting needed with a 60-1 turbo. This is on a 2000 civic Si. I read the thread about the maxrev manifold and massive cutting being necessary, are there any others that will minimize that some? I know some of you are running a 60-1 so I figured I'd ask...
