Default Where to get Cup Holder CD Player converter?

im wondering where i can get one of the things that goes inplace of the cupholders to put a cd player in it. I am going to keep my cd player where it is now(factory location), im just wanting to use the cupholder conversion so I can install a CB radio in that place.

I have a 99 civic 4dr EX for reference.

Any advice/information is appreciated

There is no "converter". The pocket comes out, then the new deck bolts right up with very minimal modifications...

Exactly, the pocket just unbolts on the sides.

Ditto both the above.

Now as long as the CB you get is no wider then a DIN HU your good to go, you may have to re-drill mounting holes. 94

The 'converter' im talking about is this picture below; i got it off of the website here: http://www.jdmcivic.com/forums...unt=1

My cupholders look nothing like that, it looks like this(except a manual and all stock trim)

I dont know what pocket comes out becaus mine is just a large pocket that is the whole assembly; there is nothing to take out. the whole cupholder/pocket assembly comes in 2 parts: the bottom which has the actual cupholders that hvave the mounting brackets and the top piece which completes the top part of the pocket.

Maybe they changed the design of the pocket/cupholder assembly in '99??

Can you post a pic of what you're working with? That pic you posted above really doesn't show much...

I totally didn't notice you had a 99-00. You need to get the cup holder for the 96-98 civics with the door. The 99-00 holder just clamps to the pocket and will not work at all.
I got mine from a junk yard for 5$.
