Default type r intake manifold

I was wondering if a type r manifold would fit my k20z1, my o5 type s? are all the k20 manifolds interchangeable? if so which ones have the most air flow?

ummm you dont want to mess around with the type r IM... thats not gona get you the gains .. what you need to do is look into getting the Im off the new SI.. it is the RBC intake.. this is what i run on my K20A2 its been able to put donw an exxtra 15 whp in cases.. but on the 05-06 rsx it was more around 8.. becase you guys already have a better flowing Im anyway .. it requires a new vacuum hose 3 bucks the karcepts adapter plate for your TB 60 bucks, two new gaskets, 4 bucks a piece, and might as well put the hondata intake mani gasket on there.. 55 bucks, ok, you have to drill a hole in the hondata mani gasket, thats simple enough, takes 5 seconds to do, you have to use a cut off wheel and cut the coolant housing off the intake , takes time and patience, it took me 30 mins to cut mine and have it grinded donw smooth.. the hondata IMG gives you a great stencil to use as a guide.. after thats all done bolt on the karcepts adapter using supplied harware and those gaskets you bought and bolt the IM on.. yer done but you need kpro to tune it to make power other wise its not worth it and you could actually lose HP.. more info on this on K20a.org.. or contact karcepts.com and he will tell ya all about it..

from the pic it looks like a custom cold-air intake
the injen one works just fine with the rubber elbow
for the aem and fujita people, they would have to cut a section of the pipe and replace it with the rubber elbow
(injen sells those seperately also)
