Default 92 cx main harness (dash harness) ? same as dx ?

Like the title states... need to know if they are the same. I bought a 92 cx with a sohc vtec d16z6 and the guy who installed it did a very poor job of wiring (tape and trashy)... well now the damn thing wont start so I think I need to replace the harness and start over... I can get a damn good deal on a dx harness but Im not sure if its the same.... Thanks in advanced

DX harness will work for everything except for Vtec. I suggest getting an EX harness, should be all plug and play with that. If you get the DX harness, you will have to wire up the Vtec yourself, since the DX model didnt come with Vtec. Try and find an EX harness if you can, it will save you a lot of trouble, especially if you dont want to have wires that are taped up running around your engine bay like when you bought the car. Cx and Dx harnesses are practically the same though, Im assuming that the guy that had it before you wired up the Vtec himself, hence the wires you were talking about. But enough babble, IMO, get the EX harness, plug it all in, and start driving again!
