How the hell do you get the stock studs off the old bracket?

I couldnt figure it out, I just went to home depot and got some bolts for 32 cents

so you used the nut and bolt method? I don't understand why the bracket didnt just come with them

mine were came off easily. i sprayed down the thread of the studs with wd-40, then took vise grips and crimped down on the lower part of it, where there isnt any thread and it loosened up.

I just couldnt get it, I know u can buy the studs frm honda for something outragous like 12 bucks a stud. Just go to ur local hardware store.

they sell a tool at hardware stores to remove bolts that you have to grab at the threads to remove. the tool does it without stripping the threads..


i just use a vice grip and grip from the very top.

just make sure the vice grip is on real damn tight.
